My son has chronic abdominal pain. He\’s been in the hospital and to the doctor several times. Any answers?
rfcnorton asked:
We do know that he doesn’t have crohns disease. the Dr. says it’s GERD. I don’t believe this. I have GERD. and the symptoms aren’t the same. Has doesn;t have acid choking him to death. It is chronic pain in his stomach. And only in his stomach.I hope someone can enlighten me so I can get him some real help. It’s hard to see a 9 year old child having these kinds of pains.
He has ADHD. He doesn’t take medicine because he had so many side effects. he has some problems in school. But it’s with reading and writing. As far as it goes with home. he has it made. It’s not gastritis. I don’t know which wat to turn
It’s not Crohn’s. His markers came back negative. When I take him back to the doctor I’ll ask his to test him for the Diverticulitis. This is more common in people over 60. But it’s worth a try to have it done.

Help! I dont know about this, and need advice ASAP?
Future Doc asked:
My boyfriend has Crohns and I guess there is this treatment that helps it to slow down by using these parasite worms. Please dont get me wrong - I want him to be well, but I dont understand this: I asked him to explain, and he is not helping me to get this. He says it is experimental. Can this make him more sick? My friend told me to check up and make sure it cant make me sick either…..Any advice????

Can having Ulcerative Colitis lead to depression or symtoms of depression?
Devin C asked:
I am a junior in high school and I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when I was in the 6th or 7th grade and have had 2 relapses since then and been on over 3 to 4 different medications during this time. The most recent medication seems to be working and I have not had problems for a while now. Ever since junior year started, I can’t help but feel that I’ve become very fatigued and being very bored almost all the time. I feel very irritable (spelling?) around friends now, and I find myself looking down upon myself. Could these signs of depression have anything to do with my Ulcerative Colitis? thanks
