my husband has been suffering so bad with UC for 5+ years now!!!(he was diagnosed 15 years ago with it) he has tried mp6, asacol, prednisone (still takes when out of control) he gets remicade infusions (double) every 5-8 weeks. he watches what he eats but still suffers so bad. he cannot eat somthing without immediately running to the bathroom. he has gone to 3 different doctors for a different treatment but they are all the same. i feel so bad for him and its a terrible cycle! prednisone – infusion and so on. Has anyone here gone through anything similar and did you find any solutions that helped?. i know there is no cure but remission is not happening.
