February 23rd, 2009 at 5:42 pm~blush~ Thank you for the lovely comment! I have been on remicade in the past and didn’t have any trouble with healing- I’m pretty sure that remicade only reduces the body’s immune response in the intestions so your gums should be fine. Hope that helps :]

February 23rd, 2009 at 5:42 pmWell it did take me a long time to recover after surgery, way longer than I expected at least. I was only concerned about getting though the surgery, but recovery was about, uh, two months or so. I really wanted to go sleigh ridding and go to thanksgiving, but I couldn’t, so I understand. I was weak and pathetic for a longtime so maybe you won’t be that way
In any event, good luck, the worst is over!

I did remicade and all that junk but it stopped working for me after about 6 months, poo
The reason I had the surgery and why it helped me so much was that I had a foot long stricture of scar tissue (I should really mention this in my vid XD) You may have the same problem, but be sure. If so then yay for surgery lol.

February 23rd, 2009 at 5:42 pmMany are realizing that dairy is the REASON so many Americans are getting sick. This diet works! You start with certain foods that work for your body. After a while much of the stuff you couldn’t eat is no longer a problem. Those are called “advanced foods.” Thousands of people follow this diet. People really need to read the science in the website. Google “SCD diet main”….it can change your life. There’s a great SCD online group too!
People if you have Crohn’s …DON’T be eating dairy!!!

February 23rd, 2009 at 5:42 pmAs I’m sure you know, everyone is diffrent. I’ve tried certian diets and foods. I know what I can eat, and what I should stay away from. I checked out that SCD diet on Wikipedia and there are some foods (allowed foods) in there that would just kill my gut! Cheese and milk arn’t bad for me. Thank God because I love dairy! But thanx for your reply and your comment! I’m balanceing it pretty well now. No major flair ups.

I know a lot of ppl have em done only to be reversed a relatively short time later, but I’ve never known why. Bowl rest maybe, but then why not just do tpn?
Thanks for the comment, and I’m glad to hear that you are well now.
