i have been suffering from I.B.S?

i have had it for 2 years now, and nothing helps, all meds i get dont do anything. i think i have stomach cancer but if i tell my G.P will he shrug me off, my friend was diagnosed with crohns disease when she was 20, why dont the doctors do more tests instead of giving me more pills! im not paranoid but the diarrhea is just getting me down as i have it all the time and i never seen to know when it is going to happen, i mean i have been incontinent also, im only 42.

all the answers so far are fab but even if i have a glass of water in the morning it just goes through my system within 5 minutes, have tried not eating anything throughout the day but i still have diarrrhea
