I never tried those filtered bags so I don't know how they work. To get rid of the gas, I went into the bathroom. I had a two piece appliance, so I pulled the top apart slightly and "burped" it. What feels different with a stoma is that gas or stool passes through the abdominal wall, and as the intestine is contracting and expanding it is pushing slightly on those abdominal muscles in a new way. Quick frequently (just about everyday) I can feel my intestines "bubbling", as I described it to me friend. This is awkward but: I could feel the gas, I suppose, "rolling" through my intestines and getting nearer to me anus and then I'd fart. Is that similar to what you meant around 1:00? I’m just a bit confused.
